La Paliza (near Ponderosa, NM)

Latitude/Longitude: 35.70444098, -106.6263901 Elevation: 8000 ft

If I *have* to go car camping, I really enjoy the Paliza Campground. It's only about a 45 minute drive from Albuquerque, it is surrounded by tall ponderosa pine trees (some of which are very large), and a nice little stream that flows right by the campsites.
